2006 Dodge Caravan Whinning Noise

After the car has warmed up it seems to be making a whinning noise. Basically it sounds identical to the way the car sounds when its going in reverse, only its going forward.

At first I though it was the alternator however I am starting to think its something more serious like the transmission.

Anyone got any similar problems?

Actually I think that is kind of a common noise on these vans . Have 2 of them and at one speed or another you can hear whining . I think you were closer to the answer with your alternator guess .
