No I have not tried duponts, what I have is Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax. This wax is the best I have used, a really deep rich shine, comes off dust free. Its a liquid and will cost you about $15 Try it !

Sorry again for bringing up the month old post, but detailing is my life. Although there are always exceptions I love 3M.
I use 3M rubbing compound for cotton pad electic buffing
I use 3M Finesse It II for foam pad buffing
Then I use Race Glaze paint sealant for wax. I used to use Meguires, but moved on and have never meen more happy. The shine is magnificent, I wash it if it gets mud or bugs on it, but if it rains the water just beads off, and I have a 'California Duster' for wiping off the spots. Plus it gives it a perfectly smooth feel. Race Glaze runs about $10 at Checker.

I concur wholeheartedly, that wax is the best I've ever used. My R/T paint has never looked better. It even brethed some life into my beat up 2000 QC, that thing looks great now too. Get it !

I am just letting you guys know that the Meguires wax has a fine cut in it. Meaning that everytime you use it, it taking a slice out of you clear cloat, the slice may be minor, but over time it will get deeper.
Quality is not always what you see.

Not the new NXT stuff. You're thinking of the "traditional" McGuires waxes.

I just went to the Meguires.com and it said it was meant to take out fine scrathes...Meaning it has a cut in it. :)
