Hello,

Great Site!

I have a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan SE.

Let me descibe my issue;

With the vehicle parked (Shut Off), if I stand in front of the Van and push the vehicle back and forth (Swaying Motion), like a rocking motion. A Clicking Sound is heard from behind "Both" front wheels. The sound is decribed as a loud double-click.
Also while initially backing up or pullong out, the sound is also heard. Not so much once I am driving, and not so much when I turn. Only while parked and swaying the vehicle and initially moving the vehicle.

Not sure if its the Axle or CV Joints or what????

50K miles

Any help would be great.

I am also looking for the Repair Manual so I can try to resolve this issue myself.

Thanks guys!

Your the best!

My 2005 does the same thing. Loud "click" or "snap" when starting from a stop either in forward or reverse. Both sides, no noise on turns. Just another annoying noise along with the sway bar bushings (at lest that's what I think is rattling over bumps) and I just turn up the stereo...
Mine has 85 thousand miles. No wrecks, etc... If someone knows what makes the clicks, I sure would like to know also! If it is CV joints, then I will wait until they start raising hell on turns before I spend the $$$.

Is there a guide on swaping out the CCV Joints?

I would sure like to know how to do this, I would like to do it myself...

Thanks!
