Dtc 1491

2003 3.8 Advance read this code but couldnot clear. It read auxilary emmissons control . Van runs find. Any ideas before going to dealer?

Thanks for info..Found shorted wire on passenger side fan and 40 amp fuse blown in rad fan..Where is rad control relay..

It's an electronic relay located between the AC condenser and the grill.

Found relay jumpered connnector and fans run fine.. ..turn on a/c and never get voltage to excite relay..

put grille back on ..drove 200 miles engine light goes out. Fans come on 30sec after ac is on ???? thanks again Mfahey...autozone also had good read out of dtc codes..
