2003 3.5L Spark plug change interval?

Friend just got a mint 2003 Intrepid SXT and it has the 3,5L engine.

I have been searching and it says that it come with platinum plugs and they are not due for changing until 100,000miles?

Is this true, some online manuals are saying 30k for a plug change.

Can anyone clarify?

100K is what they recommend. I still stick to every 2 years or 50K miles.

When you do reach 100K, make sure you swap your timing belt and water pump out.
