Can not open hood

2000 Intrepid...
It seems the cable for the hood release has snapped or somehow come off. The cable is still attached to the lever, but there is no resistance at all. Any ideas how to access the latch to get the hood open?

Check under the dash. The cable might have come off of the pull handle itself, as you mentioned there is no resistance.

this also happened to my 84 camaro, but not my 04 intriped, but..
if the previous dont work, you will need to lay down in front and reach up and try to undo or pull the cable from underneth. it wont be easy. with my camaro, it turned out to just be very rusty latch, so a little grease from a spry can fixed that.
