i have a 99 intrepid es with atc i have replace control head and blend door motor check coolant ok. i started just the normal things in this issue one think i found was that one of my heater core hoses the inlet one is about 190 degrees and the other is 100 degrees does that sound like a stoped up heater core to you. or is ther something im missing. one more question how much does the blend door more really i tried a torn 45 or 40 and tried to turn the door by hand and it turn alittle but no change?:smokin:

I would try flushing the heater core. That outlet hose should be a bit warmer than that.
The air blend door will only move about a 1/4 turn -- and its a PITA to move it by hand where its located.
Last one I tested had to remove the actuator and stick a torx driver bit in the hole at the bottom of the door hinge to get it to turn by hand.

eplaced blend door motor still not working, tryed to flush the heater core still no head replaced water pump timing belt radiator cooling tube under intake with new o-ring and new intake gaskets upper and lower for small leaking problems at one time. still no heat so i bit bullet and pulled the dash and took the box apart found doors ok, replaced heater core, guess what i got heat now, but what do u expect for a car that has over 200,000 miles on it and yes all of the parts i replaced were origanl parts also replaced tensioner bearing gone almost maken noise when cold only

Have you Tried seeing if you had any ATC Codes?
On cars with automatic climate control(ATC): To enter diagnostic mode, set the temperature to 75F, press the the off button. Press Floor, Defrost\Floor, Front Defrost simultaneously for 3 seconds until the temperature display begins to flash.
On cars with manual climate control(MTC), set the blower to any speed, turn the temperature control in between warm and cold. Press Floor, Defrost\Floor, and Front Defrost. All codes will flash via the Front Defrost button.
When the test is over all fault codes will be displayed (on cars without automatic climate control, they will be blinked out on the Front Defrost button).
