OK, I pulled into a head in parking spot on a street and pulled in too far and hit the bottom of my front end on the concrete curb. :WHA: The underside of the bumber is scratched to you know where. That's not the problem, because it's underneath and touch-up paint won't show. Even with the white scratches, you still have to be within ten feet to even see it. My problem is that the impact went up and broke my grille. Shattered is more like it. :VHOT: The OEM replacement is $108 just for parts. I am considering an aluminum mesh grille. Anyone ever do this? How hard is it?

Check this http://www.f-5performance.com/grillinstructions.htm all you need is mesh for this. . I don't know how much is broken of your grille. I have the same setup on my car.

I can't get to LB3711's site, but I'd buy, or borrow a dremel, and take the old grill out, grind everything (tabs, etc) even, & go with the alum. mesh grill. (You'll be surprized how handy a dremel will become to you, if you buy one!) You could even add a bra if your not quite satisfied, bit you WILL have a distintive car, either way. Heck, Mine isn't even broken, and I'm leaning towards the mesh grill! I have the bra, it came with the car (96 Cirrus), so I won't have to buy one, just get rid of one, if I don't like it! The Best to you, whatever your decision is! Let us know! 'bird

Well, I went out and bought some flat aluminum mesh and fabricated my own. It wasn't even that hard to do.
