2000 Dodge Ram 3500 wagon 5.2 318
a week ago I was getting off the highway and it stalled on me, now today it is doing it almost every time I stop at a stop sign, and sometimes just when I'm slightly downhill and turning a bit. I have to stop and restart, and seems to have no trouble starting most the time. it has no problem when it's in park but idling feels like it's not getting enough fuel. check engine light is not on.
it's going to the shop monday so from what I've read I'll have them clean the IAC valve and see if the IAC motor is fine.
The weird thing about the ABS/Parking brake light staying on is that sometimes it goes out for a bit but right before the dash light goes out I hear a noise every time. and the brakes feel a bit rough if I'm braking when the light goes out, but they work fine.
also it seems that when it is stalling the ABS dash light seems to go away at the same time. the ABS sensor was cleaned on the rear differential today and didn't fix the light
the codes I got from the key trick are:
P1595 - speed control solenoid circuits (or vacuum?)
P0462 - fuel level sender voltage too low
it's going to my mechanic monday but I'll have a heck of a time driving it there with the stalling.
thanks if anyone has any clues/advice!
