Has anyone ever removed the fiberglass(?) combo running board/fender flares from a conversion van? I just wondered if the hardware attachments use holes in the fenders and rocker panels or are hidden underneath?

Mine were easy to remove. A couple of screws through each wheel well and a couple of bent angle Iron supports under the step areas.
Took me longer to dispose of them than to remove them.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I don't particularly like those on some vans and I'm looking at a '92 I might buy. I didn't want to have to deal with a bunch of holes if I took 'em off.

There are some 1/8 inch holes remaining on the inside of the wheel wells(4 or 5 on each wheel), but surprisingly there is no rust around them. It has been 6 years since I removed them. No rust. Wish I could say the same about my roof gutters.
