Do you have an in-line fuel filter on the lower right front portion of the motor? Mine does (not sure if it is a factory spot or not) but I had the same issue except mine would only leak when it was warm outside and the truck was sitting for an extended amount of time. I had to simply change out one of those cheap spring type clamps on the gas line with a regular hose clamp, no more leak.

Dolfans (and '72),

Change all of the rubber fuel hose, too. Use ONLY fuel-injection-grade hose when you do so (SAE 30-R9, costs about $4.00/ft). The old-style SAE 30-R7-type hose is only good for about 18 months when put into contact with modern reformulated gas, yet it is still sold widely.

Replace all pieces on both the pressure and the suction sides of the fuel pump, including the couplers at the tank and the fuel filter and the run of about one foot beneath the right side of the cab -- and anywhere else in the system.

If it still leaks, something else is wrong.
