I have 87 D150 with 318 and i'm haveing trouble with my voltage regulator getting hot and getting to much load on it also i have a 25amp fuse on the drives side wheel well behide the battery that keeps blowning under load if i let the truck idle it's fine and want blow the fuse.I have checked the wireing every where to make sure there is no grounding issue all wireing looks good.I have repalced and check the alternator ,voltage regulator, coil, and battery these are all good.I have checked in side the fuse box everything seems ok.But the problem want stop frying my voltage regulator and blowing the fuse. When the problem occuried i was driveing down the road and i got down on it to blow her out cause she been sitting up a week or 2 and when i let off my headlights blew out and it meltted the fuse in it's houseing. Is there by and chance that the grounding plate in the distribtor could be touching sometime to ground out or bad.

Thank you for any help....
