:help:Need ideas on how to convert three speed colum shift to three speed floor shift?

i think if you go to parts store they have shifter kits to convert from column shift to floor shift. Make sure you get one for a truck though,because i had a 74 d100 w/aftermarket shifter & whoever put it in, put a car shifter instead of truck shifter in which is shorter. swap should be pretty sraight forward.

I did it on my '73 D100, using a shift lever and some linkage from a mid-70's FWD Mopar. It's all installed in a custom built console.
I used a generic cable and made my own mounting brackets to attach it to the transmission. Since I had to make a custom bellcrank and some linkage parts, it proved to be a difficult project, but now it looks as if it could be a stock installation.
The easy way is to buy a shifter with all the parts, but it will look like an aftermarket shifter.

I just realizied,is he talking 3 speed man or auto,my 74 was a 3 speed man. that why i said it should be fairly easy swap.
