Need Help.. Door Lock Mechanism

Hi guys, new to the forum, in desperate need of some answers about some door problems I'm having.. Any input is much appreciated!!

OK, I got these doors from a buddy of mine and I think they are like 1981 doors or something... I was pulling the lock mechanism out of my 92 doors to install and come to find out the holes are totally different.. Anybody have an idea where to get new lock mechanism or maybe somebody has some..


HERE IS THE BOLT PATTERN I NEED, I CHECKED MY OLDER 81 DODGE AND IT IS THE SAME,

HERE IS MY NEW OLD DOORS THAT TAKE A DIFFERENT LOCK, YOU CAN EASILY TELL THE DIFFERENCE, I REALLY CAN'T JUST DRILL NEW HOLES EITHER BECAUSE, ONE HOLE WOULD KINDA SPLIT THE OTHER IF YOU GET MY DRIFT..

Hmmm... I always thought the doors were all supposed to be the same for many years... Guess not, eh?

Does the striker bolt line up the same? latch up the same? I would think they would... If so, can you use the different lock assembly in each door, and just so both doors are keyed alike use the same key tumblers in each?
