yea it should work,works also on a 1st gen too i have it on my 1st gen

Rice Has a point! The turbo on the SRT is what keeps them sorta quiet.

My suggestion is for you to buy a header, aftermarket muffler and forget the srt exhaust. you would actually gain some power with the header.

I'm going with a long tube header, cat delete w/ non-fowler mod, factory 2.25" pipe and factory DOHC muffler... when I get around to installing it all. Just saying. Although I did have a short tube header, factory cat, 36" body glasspack, factory 2.25" pipe and SRT-4 rear section on my '97. Loud is only fun for so long, and then it gets annoying, and the cops start following you. Again, just saying.

Hoodoo - I'm not bitchy. I'm just tired from working 50+ hours a week and still having no money. U.S. economy blows if you haven't noticed. I don't have the time to sit on here as much anymore, so I just drop in and throw my 2 cents in here and there, short and sweet. I'm not forcing anyone to take my advice. If they think they know better, by all means go for it. (and be sure to keep everyone posted as to how it goes, so I can drop in and say "I told you so" at the end) Sorry, a little arrogance there. Iv noticed the same thing. But maybe that's a good thing. Their is an old saying the truth hurts, and it applies to what rice said, one search and he could have found the answer.

Im with you 100% on the exhaust. A stock dohc muffler flows well enough and keeps the DB's down. Not to mention gives it a sleeper look.

well im running a high flow cat and and a rear srt4 section and its pretty raspy but with a cai it drops the raspyness a lil but not much gonna add a glasspack to mine to quiten it down just a lil.

Minimum wage is the least amount any employer can get away with paying you. It finally got to just over 6 bucks an hour here in WV. At minimum wage most families have to choose to pay bills or eat! How's that for the American Dream! At least we got that choice I guess. Freeze or starve take your pick!

shoot i use mine to do glass etching and polishing my wheels on another car also works if you have curbed a wheel as long as you use the right rpms on it it can do many things i have owned numerous dremmels and wouldnt hesitate to buy another,best attactchment is the pen attatchment which helps getting into those tight areas and just be carefull

I had a 03 srt cat back on my old 02 LE (2.25" exhaust) I tried to put it on my 02 R/T but the exhaust is 2.5"

I have 2 clips, one is just some reving in the drive way 3000rpm tops the other is a couple wot 0-110km/h runs and then driving up hill to my house. The driving clip was done with a camcorder sitting on my dash and the window open a bit.

I made it about 6mo without any tickets.. the wife made me take it off :( so after that if I wanted loud I just took off the axle back stock muffler in about 3min.. mine had no resonators in the mid section of the pipe, also I found running straight pipe mid section, no muffler and full cat back srt4 exhaust the srt4 exhaust was louder.

Add a small bullet type muffler in the tunnel or in front of the rear drivers side wheel like I did to add the little back pressure a n/a car needs and the exhaust works just fine..
