This is probably a question for Tactransman unless we have any other transmission experts out there---

I recently got a "deal" on a 1997 Sebring Convertible with 133K miles-- it has the same transmission as our vans. The Clutch Volume Index for the 2-4 clutch is at 70, with the upper end of the acceptable range being 77.

So Doctor, how long do you think she's got?

I still remember what tactransman said from your thread last year:

150 on the OD CVI is way too high,if you have a CVI of 135-150 or more on OD CVI,you have an internal OD clutch problem, you have to watch some of the information out there(even some factory stuff)those specs are not "real world"
The other three are a little high also but not as bad.(I have seen those exact specs before)]

Those specs might not be very "real world".

Yeah, I remember that. Just wanted his views on this situation. I'm wondering if I should start reading my tranny rebuild manual.
