Anyone know the trick for placing a new window regulator????

Hi, just got our new regulator driver side in for our 97 Dodge Grand Caravan... having trouble putting it in???? Anyone know the trick out there??? Thanks so much...

Take the old one out first. :thatfunny



As I remember, Pull the glass up to the top. Tape it in place.
And stuff the whole thing in there.

Stick in one end pointing down toward the lower corner.
And the other end will just fit in.

Thanks so much for your response... we will "try"... my husband is saying the wire is too short? It came assembled... but not working for us?.... it is for the right year, though

check the placement of the motor.
If its upside down it may make the wire too short.

Or possible....Wrong side regulator...?

i just replaced the drivers side in my 200o GC, and it dies seem that one side is too short... but after a few choice words and alot of finagling, lets just say to get the old one out i had to cut it. for the new one, you just have to be patient and take it one track at a time.
