2 weeks ago I bought a used 2002 neon for my daughter. The first thing that went out was the instrument cluster. Fixed that thanks to the forum by pulling the cluster, reflowing the solderm and cleaning the contacts, but interesting, it went out again, but I pulled a fuse and reinserted it, and got it back.
The car was running fine, but she called me today stating that she went through a a little water and now the car won't move. When I got there I tried putting the car in overdrive, but it didn't move, I was able to put the car in D1, rev'd it up to bld pressure in the trans, and I got it moving, then shifted into Overdrive, but it was slipping and there was a whinning sound. I did get the car home but doesn't want to move in the forward gears. ( I drove it 3/4 of a block and had to put it in reverse to get it home. It gives code P0700, P0846 & P0736.
