Well my clutch is pretty much shot at the moment any time it rains or theirs a lot of moisture on the ground my clutch slips big time. I also tried the old floor it in 5th gear up a hill trick to see if it slips and it does. So my question is since my car uses a standard clutch what would i need to switch it over to a modular like the p/t clutch? The only thing i know that is different between the two is the modular uses a flex plate and not a flywheel. If anyone could fill in the gaps for me that would be sweet.

Im not sure if it's possible without swapping the crank shaft too.
The Modular clutch and the Non-Modular clutch are different as to how they are put together at the fly wheel.
Modulars clutches are rivited to the flywheel at the factory and they bolt onto the crank shaft. Non modular clutches like mine bolt onto the flywheel just like the torque converter on an automatic. Hope I got that right! LOL Im pretty sure thats the difference tho. From what I read at allpar there might be a need to change cranks for that swap. Im not sure about that tho.

I know i can swap a modular one in with out changing the crank. Iv searched tho org and figured id ask here instead of getting flamed over their for not searching, even though i did search and found a bunch of useless crap. Iv read that the modular one is way easier to put in since it dosen't need any aligning as it just goes in like a torque converter in an atx. I just wanna know what id need to swap a modular into my car.
