As you may remember, my turn signal switch went out
(well, here's how we figured it out - my 3rd brake light worked, but not brakes in my tail lights, and my turn signals didn't work)
A mechanic friend of mine said to hold in the turn signal switch, then start your turn sigs and or hit the brakes and see if they came back
sure enough, they did
so it was time to replace this "Multi function" switch
"Multi" because the emergency flashers, the turn signals, the wipers (with intermitten in my case) are all built into one switch
and because of that, they are an expensive little bugger to replace
cheapo ones on ebay go for around $50 bucks
the most expensive one I found (after a bunch of phone calls) was $280
wasn't super hard to replace on my 2000
but the sticker shock (as it seems with most parts) is the cost of the part itself ....
