'96 Caravan with 3.3 liter V6 and A604 transmission. Transmission rebuilt last week and I had a bad growl in right front so right front wheel bearing was replaced, then front end alignment and four new tires (can you say bleeding coins). Growl was reduced but still there so replaced that right front bearing again, and you guessed it the low growl still existed. Now I am at a impasse, what could it be, CV shaft, PS pump, or left front bearing, the noise comes in at about 35 MPH and grows a bit louder until about 55 MPH, noise is louder on roads that camber to the right and also on sweeping left turns, I can cancel the noise (temporarily) with a quick turn to the right of the steering wheel. I need some opinons here before I drop more coins on this machine.

I would look at the left front bearing first, most time when one goes the other isn't that far behind.
Did you check for play (top to bottom) in the wheels before changing the right bearing??
A front bearing can still make a lot of noise without any play, but it is a good indication that the bearing is shot.

I did jack her up and try to wiggle the wheels (no play), but with these integrated wheel/hub assemblies it is hard to get any play from the wiggle test (not like the old replaceable bearings).

Left bearing was the cause, boy does sound travel.
