I have an 87 B150/6
I have a lean burn to EI conversion planned (two projects from now).
I was poking around under the hood and noticed something that looks just like an electronic ignition module (on the fire wall, next to the lean burn module, towards the passenger side).
I had more pressing stuff to attend to at the time, and did not explore further.
Today I got curious and unteathered the rat's nest of wire that conceal the ignition-module-looking-thing to have a look.
it seems to be a steel heat-sink sort of thing shaped very much (if not exactly) like a Mopar electronic ignition module. The harnass that connects to it has only 2 wires (not 4 or 5 like an EI module would).
Does anyone know what it is (wires appear to be solid blue and solid green, if that helps)? Anyone?
