Hey my girlfriend has a 02 dodge neon RT with a Maunal tranny in it. I was just wondering if these cars have somewhere you can adjust the e brake or what do you have to most likely replace if you can pull up the lever with it only barely grabing any. Thanks.

R/T should have 4wheel disc brakes, yes? That would mean you have a "drum in hat" e-brake... I *think* there is an adjustment for it on the hub, a starwheel like a regular drum brake, but am not 100% certain. You can also adjust the cables themselves by removing the center console, however I think your better bet is to try adjusting them at the rear hubs first.

Good luck.

I know that you can adjust them by going in reverse and using that to stop yourself, this will take a few tiles to get it fully adjusted to where it will work good. But i honestly dont know if this will work with a disk set up. I dont see why it wouldnt, but when i heard about this noone ever said if it was for disk or drums. I say give it a shot and see what happens.

You'd have to be using the ebrake in reverse for that to work on a disc setup, and i doubt it would. Even on drums it doesnt adjust both sides evenly.
