Wheels and tires for a 4/6 drop

I have a 96 2wd
It currently has 275 60 17 tires
I want a 4/6 drop
Does anyone know if I can run these tires with the drop or woould I need a lower profile?
I need the tires right now but I won't get the drop till after.
I don't want to buy 2 sets of tires if the first ones wont work in a month or so.
I'm assuming I should go lower pro but I 'm not really sure with what

I did some lookin for ya this is what i came up with... what u have now is 30" tall and the side wall is 6.5"

If u go with a 245/60/17 its 28.6" tall and the side wall would be 5.8"
or a 255/55/17 would be 28" tall and side wall 5.5"

The ones u got now MIGHT work but when u drop it u need to make sure that there is room for when u hit a bump it will be close prob to close so heres a few other sizes for u to check on good luck and if u need more help PM me of post it here i did a 3-5 drop on mine before i got bags
