About 2 weeks ago my vents started spewing out this disgusting smell, almost like tuna fish or something. I just didn't use the air at all, left my windows down, then it started smelling even when the AC wasn't on, but it wasn't bad enough to complain, or get it looked at. Today what looked almost like smoke or steam came rolling out of the defrost vent on the dash (it was neither but it still had that smell to it) and what I can only describe as some kind of alarm started beeping...it sounded like when I left my lights on but I was still driving...so my question is WTF is wrong with my car?? It drives fine regardless, it isn't overheating...although it did start running warmer today than it normally does (usually it runs right under the halfway point, today it started running a bit above the halfway point), it doesn't do anything out of the ordinary. Someone told me that it might be mold in the AC system but would that make it do all the stuff it's currently doing? Also, the AC runs cold still. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance!

Right now it looks as if the server is down for repairs or upgrades over at www.neons.org. Im sure there was a write up in the how-to section about the awfull smell some Neons produce with the AC on. Sorry im not much help. Anyhow if you don't find it there try looking around at www.allpar.com they have lots of info too.
