When to the dealer today to take a test drive of the 300C. They didn't have a single 300 on the lot. They said that they had already sold the 5 they had. All 5 sold at sticker. I always have a rule of never paying sticker no mater how popular the vehicle is. I will either wait or move onto another vehicle.

Base price on the 300C is $32,995. I went to www.chrysler.com & optioned one out to $38,085. I stopped at the dealer by my house tonight & they wanted 5k over sticker for a 300 limited with the 3.5 v6. MSRP was 32k.

so far over 30,000 of the Chrysler 300's have been built, and with an additional 3,000+ per week, it's only a matter of time before there's enough out there that those crazy California dealers have to drop the insane markups. I've seen on other forums reports of $5,000 to $11,000 dealer increases on even the Touring models.
Now that production is finally gearing up on the Magnums, hopefully we'll start seeing these on the dealer's lots before too long (only about 2,000 made so far, 700 or so in the past week). I'm just biding my time until I can testdrive one, before putting my money down on an order for a Mineral Grey Metallic AWD Magnum RT with the Light Greystone interior (just like that one that toured the auto shows earlier this year which the spokesperson wouldn't sell to me when I asked for it)

THanks for the info guys! I stopped by a Chrysler lot tonight after hours and saw the new 300 sitting on the lot. It was the 6cyl model with some interior goodies and had a sticker price of 32k! Not bad at all for how good the car looks!

Just a note: That gray Magnum is AWD. I took many picts of that one last month at New York.
