Ok, I know it's not a dodge, or a neon for that matter but this is an unbelievable car (if you can call it that, lol!)

Extreme Machines -Bugatti Veyron 16.4 (http://www.vicky.in/straightfrmtheheart/extreme-machines-bugatti-veyron-164/)

The fastest, most powerful, most expensive production car in the history of the automotive industry...it's top speed is 253mph

YouTube Video of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXNR9_zhWY8)

Yeah. Pretty cool hey. Its actually a small car. It has like 11 radiators in it & I think 4 turbo's.

Holy old news... you guys need to read motor trend more often, and like 3 years ago, LOL.

You want to see something cooler, check out the Ariel Atom. ;)

It also costs $1,380,000 for list price, and yes it is quad turbo'd, and one of the ugliest cars iv ever seen.

As for most powerful idk about that. The hennessey venom 1000 twin turbo has 1,100 hp 99 more than the veyron. And it may not even be the fastest anymore check out the SSC Ultimate Aero TT it has 1,183 hp and 1,094 lb-ft of torque. It hit 241.1 mph with the throttles only opened 71 percent.

Hey rice if you like the arial atom check out the KTM X-Bow, much better IMO.

If I were to spend Mega Flow on some sports car it would be the Venom Viper 1000TT hands down. MOPAR BABY!!! It's not just a passion, it's in my veins.

Not that those aren't awesome cars cuz they are. I just would rather have the Viper.

If I had my choice of an older "classic" from over seas I would have to choose a late 60's model Jaguar!! They just look cool IMO. Or one of them old Rolls that have the side running boards. Look like the Mob rollin up! LOL

Those vipers handle like crap in the exotic sports car races here in Aus and they are well known for having terrible fading brakes.
My all time wanted car.................1960's Lamborghini Miura in yellow! Now that's a nice car!

Any car that has 1000+ hp i would imagine to handle like crap. The brakes issue isnt just an issue on the Venom's it an issue with most dodge cars and trucks.

And im with Acr98 my dream car has been a Viper since i was about six so if i had the cash i wouldnt even think about it id just buy it. Or a Srt 10 Viper, actually any viper would be good. And as far as hybrids go id want the KTM X-Bow, Just look at this car, that would be funn to drive but wouldnt do to good in wisconsin winters.

You're nuts ACR98 lol. I wouldnt want a Hennessey Viper, but if I did blow mucho dough on an exotic car, it would either be the Porsche Cayman S (suped up boxer hardtop) or a new Viper SRT-10 coupe (black w/ silver stripes :D ). But no, I would not want the Hennessy version... Motor trend sent one down the 1/4 mile with drag radials and a G-meter... the rear end never hooked up, it was out of line one way of the other from start to finish... thats just way to much power on tap for anyone. The 600hp the Vipers come with now is plenty IMO.

Although if I really blew money on a toy like that, it would probably be something cheaper that I either built up, or just flat out built myself, since I wouldnt want to have a really nice daily driver anyway. My most recent dip into vehicular insanity was a rough design for a AWD, full IRS go-kart, which I would call "The Evo Killer"... 500-700lbs, was thinking Honda 1100RR engine & 6 speed trans, geared to top around 160mph-ish? Don't think I could engineer areodynamics to produce stability above that. But I don't have $3k to dump into something thats not even street legal. :(

LOL @ Rice_Eater! I am nut's! I wouldn't realy need the Hennessey Viper. Im sure Id be happy with any Viper. It's not the HP and TQ I like about the Viper. I love the way they look. IMO it's the best looking car on the road today. I think Id still feel that way if it had a 2.0 liter like the neon. LOL

My all time favourite car if I could afford one! Lambo.......
And, heres a pic of my first ever car (not the exact one), Lancia Beta Coupe 2.0.
Man that car looked sweet in cherry red. And, quite potent (about 160hp). Pity I rolled it onto its roof hey! lol

I think if I actually had the money I would buy a Lotus Exige S, their small, light weight are pretty fast and they only sit like 3 inches off the ground, but the best thing about them is they look badass.

LOL 0-60 in three days!!!! Thats funny!!!! Im not saying I wish it had a 2.0. All I am saying is it's the look of the car, not the power of the V-10 that draws me in.

Hoodoo has got alot more choices in cars than we have in the states. I don't think that you can even buy a Nissan Skyline GTR here!! Bummer!

sohc98

Nope you can tbut the new one will be available soon here in thes states, but who would want the new GTR.

rice_eater
07-18-2008, 11:30 PM
^^^agreed. New GTR is a rich boy's toy, electo-nannies, buttons and gadgets... One of those cars that can almost drive itself so rich doctors and lawyers who know nothing about cars or driving can ride along.

I wouldn't! LOL

Im just saying that certain cars are not available here in the states. And if Im not mistaken alot of the one's imported are detuned to US specs. I could be crazy tho, not sure.

I almost purchased one import car. It was actually a Dodge tho. It looked alot like this one in the picture. Only it was white. After the guy started it I told him to shut it off. Im not sure what was wrong with it, but it knocked like a woodpecker!!! Bad looking car tho for it's time. At least I thought so.

Thats actually a Mitsubishi Starion Turbo. 2.6 litre 4 cylinder turbo.
I looked at buying one of those once too!
That Lancia pictured above is a typical car that was detuned for the usa market. Near 140 hp here standard in Aus and europe and like 110 hp detuned for usa. U guys suck! lol

I never bother looking at anything that old... for one, its usually rotted out, and regardless of the mileage its going to need work simply because of age (seals and hoses do not last forever). And secondly, even the "fast" cars of that era are obnoxiously slow by modern standards, and get sucky fuel economy to boot.
