Anywho I want to put a manual trans in will the computer from a 2004 srt-4 work. Will I have to mod something like harness? My neon is a 2005 sxt.

I havnt seen you since i first joined the site, welcome back. And i dont think that would be the computer to use since its coming from a turbo car and a completely different motor. Are you gunna use a mtx froma 2.0 or the 2.4? Is your car an atx currently? If so I think you would be ok with the pcm that you currently have. First gen mtx cars can run off a atx pcm so i dont see why a second gen couldnt, but if you are using a 2.0 trans why not just get a pcm from a mtx 05 sxt, then you wouldnt have to worry about a thing.

X2... computer swapping is a PITA for NGC vehicles. The only way you're going to get away with swapping PCM's in an NGC car is to buy a new PCM from a dealer and have it programmed with your key code and vehicle info... mucho dinero.
The ATX PCM should work with an MTX, you'll just have an engine code for torque converter lock up... since you wont have a torque converter.

ohh yea i completly forgot about the ngc, so i think your only option is to do what rice said, or have the engine code w/ the stock pcm.

lol well the neon will run mtx on the atx ecu u jus have to removed the cable from the shifter assembly on the atx to the ignition n put n a hard wire so it thinks the car is in park when u want to start it lol.
srt-4 ecu even if it was plug n play would never work... way more sensors.. completely different motor... not to mention boosted vs na
