Suggestion for a good after market muffler

Hello Again,

I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a good after market muffler for a 2000 neon.
Are there any modifications that need ot be done with an aftermarket muffler?
Is it possible to get an aftermarket muffler without the whole exhaust system?

what kinda muffler are you looking for, Big Bore or more like a Flowmaster?

I'm looking for a good compromise between performance and volume. A muffler that would compliment a cold air intake is what I'm looking for I guess. I was looking at the stock muffler and it sits from left to right and all the after market mufflers that I have seen are front to back.

what I done on mine is I went and had a local muffler shop make the pipe come stright to the back the n put on a Big Bore Exhuast

Apexi, Blitz, Skunk2 and many others make a good muffler for power and volume control so I would look as some of their stuff

man it is what you want the car to sound like loud or quite or performance. you want performane just run strat pipes to a small low restriked mufler
