Hey all; First timer.. I just traded my 2001 Ford F-350, chiped, pumped and decked out for a 2004 Q.C 3500 single axle. The damn seat belt bell is about to drive me crazy!!! PLEASE! help me dis arm it. With my Ford there was some sort of code.. It involved head lights seat belts and ignition, all done with in 60 seconds... Kind of like Voo- Doo..

i took the seat belt in the center and plugged it into the drivers side one. Somebody also said your owner manual will tell you how to turn it off.

What I did was-where your belt mounts to the floor by the back of the console the double wire that come up through the floor and goes into it, pull the wires out a little bit and cut them. Then just take the end from the floor and strip them and tie them together completing the circuit. NO MORE DING DING DING............ :rck:

Wear your seatbelt....easiest fix I have done. Not to mention it will save your life someday. That will be $75....:) jk about the money.

It's in the owner's manual. Try this: Turn ignition on, buckle and unbuckle the seat belt three times in the first ten seconds ending with the seat belt buckled. You should get a DING to show it has been disabled. Then turn off the truck, unbuckle and it shouldn't come back on. That's just from memory, to be sure check your manual.
