Well, im in the process of planning out a quad head light grill for my truck very similar to the grill of a 64 Ford Galaxie. It will require cutting and sectioning, riveting and welding. I need to know what alloy of alumninum they are made of. They are already about .03" so theres not alot to mess with/ space for error. (why riveting a backing plate in and welding and fileing the seam is a good idea to me.
Sooo, does anyone know what alloy the grill is?
Also wile out looking in the same SY I got my SS box from for grills to do this to somthing caught my eye. I wished for the best but held low hopes. What I thought I saw was a Satalite or somthing of perhaps even a ford of some kind... I found a 1971 Road Runner! 383 auto. No hood, no carb, no front glass and in kinda rough shape. Im thinking when im done with the Dodge i will be build a Roar Ripper pure drag car.
