1991 Dodge Caravan A/C

Hello everyone.

We got the 3.0 litre V6 and our A/C doesn't work. When we set the temperature to cold and press the little blue compressor button, the compressor does not engage. I have bypassed the low pressure switch, but the compressor still did not start. I also jumpered the A/C clutch terminals and the clutch DID close.

Any ideas what truly is wrong/how to test them?

Is the A/C fuse OK?
I know this is a stupid question, no insult meant, sometimes the simplest things are an issue: is the fan switch turned up? On my '95 the A/C doesn't run if the fan is "off".

All my fuses in the panel are okay, if not what other fuses are there?

And yes the fan is on, but good point, it's easy to overlook something small.
