'00 CG Sport Daytime Running Lights??

Just a quick :confused: ????

I've had a 2000 GC Sport for almost 3 yrs now with the 3.3L Flex w/124K and have had NO Daytime Running lights well.....running??

I see many of the same years & older WITH them either as the headlights or marker lights.

Whats up? I can't FIND a fuse that's blown or even an I-CON on the dash. Not that's it's a BIG issue ( I usually drive w/headlights/driving light combo anyways) but DID some models NOT come with them as standard equip?

Just curious as to if they were "shut-off" at a dealer thru the ECM Mod, and if it's that simple - can get them "turned-on" if I want?

i have an 01 with drls but that's because it was built for Canada where they are required and then imported here, I'm not sure what year the U.S. or even if the U.S. requires them on vehicles built for the U.S. market

Maybe the people you see just turn on their headlights during the day. I always do with my Durango. As for my wife's 01, I was able to program it to use DRL by changing the country code in the BCM to Canada-- don't know if the 00 can be programmed similarly. (This requires the dealer scan tool.)
