2003 Town and Country engine swap

I may be doing an engine replacement on a 2003 Town and Country -- my only question is if the engine can be removed from the top?

Past minivans Ive done engine swaps on I have had to drop the powertrain out from the bottom with a lift. I dont have easy access to a lift anymore, so if that is the way it is on this van I wont be able to do it. Thanks!

I haven't done it but I seriously doubt you can fit the engine through the hood opening without destroying something in the process.

I also haven't done it, but having removed the wiper tub before, I think you could get plenty of clearance to pull the engine from the top if you do that.

Looks like the older ones you can pull from the top == but the service manuals for the new ones say no.
