Hello :) .. I have a few issues. First i put a new CD Player in. Witch it shorted my Illum lights. I dont know how. But then my Battery light comes on. Is there any specail Fuse for alernator and battery ? Because i was going to start my car up this morning and my battery was dead. I had to get a jump from my step dad. I dont know plus it bogs my car too. Im saying there is a fusible link fuse somewhere i blew and i dont know. Please help me...

PS: the battery light dosnt come on when i start driving. Plus my uncle told me to take the ( - ) off the battery and if you car keeps running it means you alernator is running fine and if it stalls then its bad. Well would this issue be my oil ? idk help me out im lost i cant go any where with out this being fixed.

Sounds to me like you need to pull out that cd player and make sure all the connections are good and that nothing is touching anywhere. How did you install it? with a kit or did you just cut wires and splice them? Something is drawing power from the battery at all times which is what kills it. If your alt was bad the battery light would come on when the battery started to get low. Thats about all I can tell you man. Take a look at it and let us know what you find. Use a little 12v tester to find out which wire has constant power with the key off. There should be only one and all it's used for is to keep your radio presets and clock. Good Luck!
