My 2000 plymouth neon stalled one day while I was driving it. When it stalled there were no noises or anything. A couple days before it stalled the check engine light came on. After researching we checked the codes and they read out....1684,0340,0703,1391. The car will try to start but will never turn over. We checked the spark plugs and noticed we werent getting fire or getting a very weak fire on a couple. We changed the coil pack out and still nothing. We changed the crankshaft sensor out..still nothing. All the fuses are okay. Anyone have any ideas?

another thing is try pulling the fuelpump fuse (under the hood) and leave it out for a minute or two this will reset the computer, thats what i did to my 95 after a new cam and crank sensor and it worked.
In ur first post it says the car will try and start but wont turn over.
Did you mean that it turns over but wont fire or dose it not even turn over, because if it dosnt turn over at all you should check all battery and styarter connections first and if still nothing its gunna most likly be a bad starter.

I don't know about the code for this vehicle, but did you check the camshaft position sensor. I have a '96 Neon (uses different codes) that wouldn't start - turned over but wouldn't catch. The sensor is mounted on the end of the head. Also check the wiring to the crank sensor as it is subject to a lot of abuse from road salt, water, mud etc.

I changed the camshaft sensor and still nothing. It did take the codes off, but the dash still flashes fuse. I checked all the fuses and they are all fine. This is really confusing?
