I wanted to get thoughts on it from others who have the 4.7 with the new auto...
I love it. Its so much more responsive and crisp than the old transmissions. And I've been suprised at how hard it shifts when you're really on it. I'm sure the new engine helps also. I feel that the 4.7 is also more responsive and pulls harder from idle to redline than the 5.2 in our Durango. The Durango is nice, and had decent power. I drove it pretty hard and I was pretty happy with. But we had a 'loaner' 00 Durango from the dealer while ours was in the shop (another story) and it had the 4.7 and it felt so much better. It was like a completly different vehicle.
Anyways, just wanted to see what others think...
