I have a 1997 Voyager 3.3 V6. Today the cooling fans wouldn't come on (92 degrees and my wife was sitting in line at the Mcdonalds drive thru). of course it overheated. Checked the obvious, direct wired the fans, checked the fuse under the hood, but couldn't figure out where the cooling fan relay is. The owners manual points you to under the dash.
Hope someone can help. Does anyone have a picture of the fuse/relay box under the dash showing the location of the cooling fans relay.
Thanks
Chuck

The relay is a solid state type relay. They are not the traditional square box type relay. You will find it on the drivers side around the radiator. Usually from underneath you can find it easier. It has a straight rectangular plug with four wires in it that plug into the bottom of the relay. Our 97,they didn't mount this unit to anything and it was dangling from underneath, you could see it dangling while standing in front of the vehicle. I say this so you know how low to be looking. If you trace the fan wires, they go right to it.

Thanks for the info. I checked it out today and it was the relay. Kinda pricey @ $60.00. Sometimes finding the components and knowing what they look like takes longer than fixing. I removed the air box and got right at it from the top.
Just a matter of time till the next thing brakes.
