lean burn to hei ?

I am converting to the Hei setup ,I have everything I need , my question is I know you use the positive wire from the original coil to the new coil , but do you just leave the negative wire on the old coil off. It looks like it just goes to the lean burn hookup, in the wiring diagram I have looked at.

Yeah just leave it unhooked.

That is what I thought I just wanted to make sure , and all the posts I found were about cars that were pre-lean burn .

its not all that hard i did a month or 2 ago to my lean burn truck, now it runs great can set the timming now!!!
