Speedometer Problem

I own a 97 dodge caravan, recently my speedometer went nuts. Whenever I start the engine the speedometer doesn't work, the warning lights, speed, gas, and temp meters aren't working either but I can see the meters' needles are flicking and the engine is running smoothly. After a few miles of driving, the speedometer would jump back to normal operation. Can somebody help me.....thanks :help:
