I have come into a dilemma. I have a 2002 Dodge Neon ES. I live in New York, and during the first snow storm this winter my passenger side foglight (lamp) cracked. I mean it litterally shattered. I just contacted Dodge today and they told me each fog lamp cost $130. I don't have that kind of money.
Question is:
Do I check the local junkyards for a replacement fog lamp, or do I go into an autoparts stors (eg.. Auto Zone or R & S Strauss) and buy a new set of fog lamps and replace them where the stock lamps are placed?
I don't know yet how the stock lamps are mounted, but I am good with wiring and I have installed foglamps on cars before, so I feel like a new pair of lamps might be cost effective and not too difficult, just tedious...
