:help: Hi people, I need some help. I have recently started to look for and pay more attention to websites catered to the Neon. My problem is alot of the "auto lingo" I have no clue about, and I would like to know if anyone can recommend some websites or books that I can read to educate myself. It' to the point I don't have any clue about the type of engine in my 2002 neon. I have been lost with the SOHC and DOHC terms as well as many others. I tricked into buy my car from a dealership and now that I ahve to keep it for at leats another 3 years, I want to make it something worthwhile...... :help:

SOHC= Single OverHead Cam, this is what is in your car and was available in alot of 1st gen neons(95-99) and is the only type avail. in 2nd gen(00-04) Neons. Only variable in SOHC motors is magnum (R/T's and ACR's 01-04) and non-magnum (00+ LE's, LX's, SE's, SXT's)

DOHC= DualOverHeadCam avail in 1st gen neons 95-99. You can tell a DOHC equipped car from the outside by the bulge in the hood.
