96 Stratus - Bunch of Questions

I am new to the site. I have been looking a while for a site like this....I am glad to be here. First thing I have a 96 Stratus 2.4l engine with 56K on it. The car is in great shape and has really been reliable (it used to be my wife's car, she now has the "family" car).

I am having problems with rough or Sticking steering on really cold days. Since it has been warming up here in NY it has been going away but it comes back sporadically. Can anyone suggest anything?

Also, the car has an oil leak. Can anyone suggest anything?

And the last question...Can anyone suggest how I can increase performance? I am a novice at this stuff and don't want things to get to complicated. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

for the steering I would check to see if you have the proper level of fluid in the resovour. also could be a problem that might be starting with the pump or the rack.

the Oil leak could be from the oil pan or the valve cover or the head gasket or a rear main seal. I would sugget getting a bright light and looking around the engine and tranny and look for the leaks top and bottom.
