Believe it or not, my wife pointed out an old Dodge "C" model flatbed up the road from my house-: C3-D6-128 which I think means "C" model, 3rd year of production ('56? '57?), 230CI flathead 6, 128" bed.
I have only given it a cursory look (the owner wasn't home), so I don't know the condition of the mechanicals at all (i.e. if it turns over) but it looks solid with little rust- the biggest issue seems to be a dented passenger side fender and smashed passenger side window. I'd like to know a) if my deciphering of the model code is correct, b) what is the parts availability and c) what specifically should I look for when I go in for closer scrutiny?
