I have a 04, 5.9L Dually in which I have recently installed a superchip in it and set it up for performance setting and let me tell you wow what a difference it made the truck is producing better torque and the fuel mileage went up tremendously.
Yes I have gotten on it a couple of times especially when a Dura Slack is next to me.
Any way my problem now is that from shifting from 1st to 2nd gear the truck feels like it is looking for more air, fuel or something to make it move. When accelerating gradually the truck shifts fine. I have put the truck back to the stock setting and it has gotten better but is still there.
Anybody have any suggestions?

I know so little about the 3rd Gen Dodges but my lift pump fuel pressure took a dive due to the biodiesel fuel I've been buying...it cleans tanks and plumbing real good and the residues clogged my fuel filter....everything returned to normal with the fuel filter replacement.

Is your 04 a 600 series or not, How many miles, and What other performance parts have you installed on it?

My dad has a 04 non 600 series and his lift pump went out at 80,000 miles. Aparently it just as common on the 3rd gens as it is on the 2nd gens. But as far as lacking at higher rpms could be dirty fuel filter, air filter, dirty injectors, things like that. I ran a bottle of seafoam with a full tank a fuel a while back and what a difference. The truck ran smoother and cranked quicker. Just a suggestion.
