just finnished a 700 mile trip and check eng. lite came on and i had no throttle response, motor kept running, pulled over shut it down ,restarted and it was fine, plulled the codes and got po121, po122 both tps sensor. this is my first cummins so my ? does the tps need to be replaced or is the a sign of another problem . thanks for eny input

Yes, will not hurt to change it at all. Does it do it any more?

Mine does it without a code about once a year. I took the assembly containing the TPS loose and disconnected the wiring connector. One of the pins was discolored so I reconnected and disconnected then reconnected again to hopefully improve the connection which worked for a year then I just repeat as necessary.
