unsual feeling

I have a 2006 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab with the 3.7L V6 with 38,000 miles. Just recently, when u put the truck in reverse and move a little bit it has a grinding feeling to it but i don't hear any grinding noise. It also does it in drive intermitenly under accelration around 40 mph It seems like it loses power when it does it. Anybody hear of this before, Im taking it to the dealer soon. Any feedback would be great.

I woudl say either brakes (not likely since it does it while accelerating) or rear axle...Does it have limited slip??
