My right side door is messed up and I want to replace it. Looking at the door, I noticed two possible ways:
1) Each hinge has 3 blots the connect to the van or
2) Each hinge has a pin connecting the 2 halves of the hinge together.
The current lock is not keyed for any of my keys, so this wouldn't be an issue, although I should take it to a locksmith to take cake of that.
I also have rear door issues too, but I'll address these later.
I did find the Dodge emblem for the rear door, mine has always been MIA. It was a nice find at a pick-a-part. The B-Series vans are there getting harder to find there too. I didn't see any A-Series vans either. But there were a bunch of 250's from GTE/Verizon.
All in all I am very impressed this van. Having heard jokes & horror stories about Dodge all my life, I was kinda leery about buying my van at first. But with the slant six and it still being on the road after 31 years, I figured I couldn't go wrong. I have owned it since September 2006 and 95% of the time it turns over on the first try. :ylsuper:
