First remove the IOD fuse located in the engine fuse compartment for 5 mins. This resets the BCM. If that doesn't work, try slapping the dash top over the gauges. If they work for a bit, you will have to do the solder repair.

pulled the fuse and waited 15 min still did not work tried to pull the codes but I can't get past "link" with my reader for some reason. Did a culster check and speedometer goes through it stages OK as does the tack etc.. Pulled the connectors off the computer and everything looks good, wnt back and double cked the connectors on the output sensor as well as the input sensor all look good. Took it for another drive and it doesn't shift right if you stick your foot into it but if you drive normal it will shift normal. It seems to studder(looking for a word). I guess this would lead to the input sensor as being bad but I was told it has no bearing on the speedometer, anyone kmow if the input sensor has anything to do with the speedometer or anything else I can try?
Thanks Bluenose

This has worked on most T & C, turn switch to on posi. do not crank, push in your TRIP & RESET switch at same time for about 5 sec. or until you see gauges jump, what this does is reset your cluster.
