What else should I be looking at? I did the clokspring, which I thought for sure was the problem, no such luck!!! I wiggled and unplugged/plugged all the connections under the seat to make sure there were no loose connections as well.

Its a 2002 grand caravan

HELP! :help:
TIA guys

Have you gotten the codes read? If not, that might be a great place to start.

There's not much you can do yourself if it's not the clockspring. The airbag codes can't be read using a standard scan tool like Autozone has. There could be a short/break in the wiring, one of the airbags themselves may be bad, the control module could have an internal problem. You should NOT start probing stuff with your multi-meter since the power output by the multi-meter could set off an airbag. A shop would use what is called an "airbag load tool" that attaches in place of the airbag and allows testing-- it's probably best just to bring this in since it is an important safety issue.

Thx guys, I am going to bring this into the dealer (something I try to avoid at all costs!!!)

Good point about the multi meter, that never occurred to me. I did test a few things with my meter, it seems as if the sensor my driver's side buckle is not working.

Luckily I disconnected the battery when I did this (or it's another case of God protecting the stupid)...

Disconnecting the car battery won't stop the battery in the multimeter from setting off an airbag, so it's definately the latter. (A protection I've benefitted from many times myself.)

yikes!!! I dont know what I would be afraid of more, the bag going off, or my wife yelling at me that I am an idiot and should have brought to a dealer like she wanted...

What's the difference?

Sorry, I could not resist!

Take it in and let them deal with the air bag system.
